Ensuring Contest Integrity
Majority of contests will require a Contest Proctor. This individual should be a non-advisor/program instructor such as a(n) advisor board member or school administrator. This individuals sole purpose is to ensure contest integrity.
Contest proctors will work with local advisor/program instructors to ensure all safety and health guidelines are followed. The proctor will be responsible for validating that the contestants only record their contest once in their presence. These individuals may also be asked to serve as a timekeeper or ask questions of contestants as part of an interview. All details will be provided in the state contest.
To ensure integrity, the contestant(s), local advisor and the proctor will sign-off on the Integrity Statement provided with the state contest.
