Professional Development Career Ready Exam
The mission of SkillsUSA is to empower its members to become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens. SkillsUSA improves the quality of our nation’s future skilled workforce through the development of Framework skills that include personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics.
Based on research of over 1,000 business and industry partners, the SkillsUSA Framework defines the skills needed for success in the workplace and in life. This year each career competition of the SkillsUSA Championships will include a Professional Development Career Ready Exam worth 5% of the total overall score.
The will consist of 50 multiple choice questions, that will include:
5 questions demonstrating general career readiness
15 questions demonstrating Personal Skills
15 questions demonstrating Workplace Skills
15 questions demonstrating Technical Skills Grounded in Academics
